Why an archive of web pages?

Old information can be important for our history and culture. In addition, both individuals and businesses can derive rights from information found on government or public service websites. Such information can be used as evidence in lawsuits, for instance. This is why old pages of this website are archived.

How the web archive works

A copy of the CAK.nl website is made each day. If you want to see what appeared on this website in the past, please visit archiefweb.eu and click on 'English'.

You can use the web archive in two ways:

  • By selecting a date on the calendar (in the grey bar on the left of the screen) you can navigate through the site as it was on a specific day in the past. You can go back as far as 11 December 2019.
  • You can search through the site via the search field (under the calendar).
