Submit bank details of the heirs
As the heir of the deceased, do you get money back from us? Then we need a bank account number from you and in most cases also proof that you are an heir.
How do I change the bank account number?
In addition to your bank details, we also need proof of inheritance with refunds over € 100.
Step 1: Bank details
Are you the only heir? Fill in the bank details form (pdf, 88 kB) in full. Are there more heirs? Then fill in the form Authorisation by heirs (docx, 21 kB) (Dutch only). One heir then receives the refund with the permission of the other heirs.
Step 2: Proof that you are an heir
Depending on the amount we pay you, you will also need to send supporting documents.
Please note
Have you received more than one annual statement from us? Then add up all the amounts to be refunded and use the total amount for the table below.
Total refund | Document needed |
---|---|
Lower than € 100 | Signed declaration by heirs |
Between € 100 and € 500 | Marriage booklet or will |
More than € 500 | Will or certificate of inheritance |
Signed declaration by heirs: The heir(s) declare that they are the sole heir(s) of the deceased. You can simply write or type this on a piece of paper. Don't forget to sign the declaration.
Marriage booklet (or partnership booklet): Make a copy of the page where the couple's details are located. And – if you are a child of the deceased – a copy of the page where the children were credited.
Will: A will is an official document that has been drawn up at a notary before the death. It states who are the heirs of the deceased and who gets what after the death.
Certificate of inheritance: A certificate of inheritance states who the heirs of the deceased are. A notary can draw up this certificate after the death on request.
Step 3: Send
