The EHIC for 2027 is on its way!
Good news: the new European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) is coming soon! Everyone receives the card automatically, so there is no need to call us. As long as we have your address details on file, we will handle the rest. Please only contact us if you have not received the new card by December.
Who does not automatically receive the card?
An exception applies to family members of cross-border workers; they only receive the card automatically if they already hold an EHIC card. You can apply directly online via our website.
Remind me, what is the EHIC?
EHIC stands for European Health Insurance Card. If you suddenly need medical care while abroad—for example, during a holiday—you simply present this card at the hospital or doctor's office. The card is valid in most European countries, so you can always travel with peace of mind!
