Healthinsurer/agency
After registering with the CAK, you will receive a 121 form. Submit this form to a local office of the Caisse Nationale de Sécurité Sociale (CNSS).
Reimbursement
In Morocco
- Basic package (Assurance Maladie Obligatoire): includes GP, hospital and medication.
- Do you find the reimbursements too low or limited? Please contact the CNSS to inquire about the options for supplementary insurance.
In the Netherlands and other countries
You are not entitled to reimbursement for healthcare in the Netherlands or other countries. Therefore, take out travel or supplementary health insurance.
What do you pay?
- A healthcare contribution to the CAK . Calculate your treaty contribution with the CAK - Healthcare Contribution Calculator (in Dutch). We deduct this contribution monthly from your pension(s) or benefits.
- A personal contribution for certain medical care and medication in Morocco.
- Supplementary insurance is at your own expense.

Details
Your family members (partner, children) without their own income who live in Morocco are eligible for co-insurance. However, the CNSS must approve this.
