Changing or providing your bank details

Would you like to provide us with your bank details? Or do you have a new account number? Pass it on to us. This is useful if you receive money back from us or want to arrange a payment arrangement or direct debit.

How it works

You will need:

  • your bank account number (IBAN)
  • BIC/SWIFT code of your bank (only if you do not have a Dutch bank account)

Step-by-step

  1. Log in to My CAK (Dutch only) with your DigiD.
  2. In the overview, go to Mijn Bankgegevens.
  3. Click on the link Bankgegevens wijzigen of doorgeven.
  4. You will see a digital form. Fill this out completely and click on Verzenden.
  5. Ready!

What can I expect after that?

Changing your account number takes about 7 working days. When that is done, you will see your new account number in My CAK.

Would you prefer to provide your bank account number with a paper form? Then download the Notification of bank details form (pdf, 88 kB), print it out and send the completed form to us by post. Our address is on the form. It will take longer for your bank account number to be changed.

An International Bank Account Number (IBAN) is used to facilitate international transactions between accounts and banks. The IBAN consists of a country code (two letters), a check number (two digits) and an account number. You can find the IBAN on your bank card, in the app or on your bank statements.

The Swift code or BIC (Bank Identifier Code) is your bank's unique international number. The code can be retrieved from your bank and is often also on your debit card.
