These are the contact details for the Health Insurance Abroad scheme. This is for customers who live abroad and receive a pension or benefit from the Netherlands, and for cross-border workers.

We are available by phone Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

With the EHIC from the CAK, you and/or your family members are entitled to reimbursed care in the Netherlands, the other EU/EEA Member States, the United Kingdom and Switzerland.
